InspirE Art Show

For all you Angelinos out there, you have probably heard of a city in the greater Los Angeles area called Pomona. It’s about 30 miles east of Downtown and I must say, it’s one unique place to visit. In Old Town Pomona is this concert venue called the Glasshouse. I went there just last week with my girlfriend to see Tegan & Sara who, along with other bands from Coachella, played the same venue.
First off I was pretty confused when I walked in and they told me I couldn’t buy beer at the venue and that I had to go across the street to a bar for any alcohol. Then a few fights broke out before the band came out, which was highly odd to me because I expect fighting to go on at Pantera or a Deicide shows. Not Tegan & Sara. Then during the show someone decided to fart in the already=densely packed venue. It nearly made me barf from the stench just simmering in there. Then whoever it was decided to continuously rip them throughout the entire show. No class I swear.
Well after that show I promised myself that I would never walk into Pomona again. But I may go down there for the InspirE Art Show on May 10th in Downtown Pomona. It will take place at Platform skate shop and hopefully won’t be tainted with disgustingness. Check out the flier for more details.
