Tony Hawk’s World Domination Tour This Summer

Tour dates have been offcially announced for Tony Hawk’s 2008 World Domination Boom Boom Huck Jam Tour. After two years of being relegated to Six Flags parks the tour is blowing up with 23 announced stops and more likely to come. From SoCal to Houston to New York and Chicago, the tour is hitting some huge metropolitan areas along with a few smaller markets like Boise, ID and Harrington, DE. The tour has been around since 2003 when it started as a one-off performance in Vegas.

This year’s lineup includes veteran skateboarders Kevin Staab, Jesse Fritsch, Sergie Ventura, and Neal Hendrix along with some legendary BMX talent (Kevin Robinson, John Parker and Dennis McCoy) and some FMX representation (Drake McElroy, Matt Buyten, and Greg Garrison). Topping things off will be DJ Mike Relm.

In addition, the T-Mobile Sidekick was named the presenting sponsor last week, leading to rumors that a Tony Hawk-branded Sidekick is on the way. Sounds like the perfect tie-in to me.
