Read a little about the background of this event in its sixth year…

Curt Kimbel, 1970’s Southern California “Badlands” pro started MASS, 6 years ago to promote skateboarding throughout the Mid Atlantic (the Eastern US from NY south to Georgia). With classes for every age, gender, skill level and skating style, combined with a low stress yet high energy jam session format, and an army of dedicated volunteers, MASS has evolved and grown beyond expectations and is now possibly the largest amateur skate series in the country, drawing skaters and their families from all over the East Coast and Midwest.
