Now you can start searching for tickets to come to L.A. (*cough* Carson) to see all the action of X Games 14. The schedule has been announced (mostly) and the biggest change is the return of Skate Street to Staples Center in downtown L.A. after being moved to the Home Depot Center thanks to construction issues.
Not scheduled yet are the Big Air finals, though experience indicates Thursday, July 31 or Friday, August 1 will feature the finals of those events.
While Skate/BMX Strreet will be taking place at Staples Center, the new Skate and BMX SuperPark events, along with Vert, will be back at Carson at the Home Depot Center.

ESPN Announces X Games 14 Competition Schedule
Four-Day, World-Class Action Sports Event Returns to STAPLES Center and The Home Depot Center; Surfing Hosted by Puerto Escondido, Mexico
ESPN X Games is returning for a fifth year in Los Angeles and welcomes a new event – BMX Freestyle Street – as well as the return of Men’s and Women’s Surfing. X Games 14 will take place July 31 – August 3 at The Home Depot Center and STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, and surfing will be in Puerto Escondido, Mexico for a fourth year from July 7 – 11. Fourteen hours of live X Games programming on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC – all showcased in high definition – will be aired July 31 – August 3, as well as on ESPN International, EXPN.com, ESPN Classic, ESPN360.com, SportsCenter and ESPN2’s X Center.
X Games 14, the premier action sports event in the world, will feature athletes from across the globe competing for medals and prize money in the following sports: BMX Freestyle, Moto X, Skateboard, Surfing and Rally Car Racing. Tickets for X Games 14 will be available for purchase June 19 at ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations and the box offices at STAPLES Center and The Home Depot Center.
Making its debut at X Games 14, BMX Freestyle Street will feature 12 world-class athletes, and the competition will follow the same course as X Games mainstay Skateboard Street. Showcased on the roof of the LA Live parking structure, the concept contains simple, raw street features such as stairs, concrete rails and ledges, and air features such as loading docks and/or street style gaps. The BMX Freestyle Street Final will stream live on EXPN.com, with the third session of the finals airing live on ESPN’s X Center Thursday, July 31 at 8 p.m. ET.
Returning to Puerto Escondido, , X Games Surfing will take the stage July 7-11 at the famous “Mexican Pipeline” at Zicatela Beach. The GameTM format will be used as in past years, as the men and women competitions battle for gold in the “USA vs. the World.” Puerto Escondido locals will also join forces for a win from their respective teams, the “Tiburones vs. the Malaguas.” All competitions will stream live with real-time scoring and chat on www.EXPN.com
