For those of you who don’t know about this new phenomenon called Ebay, let me tell you a little about it.  On this site, you can get unbelievable and rare items from all over the world.  It’s an international online forum for auctions and if you’re the lucky last bidder, you can take home the prize.  Just last week, I bought a potato chip with the image of the Virgin Mary on it.  And the week before that, I won a complete limited edition Gary Coleman trading cards set.  I’ve been waiting to get my hands on all 200 cards for the past 22 years now.

Now you too can get into the Ebay action by bidding on these rare limited edition “Free Love Park” Emericas.

All proceeds from this charity auction benefit the construction of a free public skate park in Wilmington, Delaware through the Wilmington Skate Project.  Super Limited Edition, Roughly 50 pairs of this shoe were made, 7 pairs are up for auction currently.  If you are looking for a particular size, please check my auction listings.  Once these are 7 pairs are gone, it’s likely that you will never see these shoes again. So, Bid High and Bid Often.

The Wilmington Skate Project-WSP is a group of dedicated volunteers who are committed to the establishment of free quality skateboarding facilities in the city of Wilmington. WSP’s members are a diverse group of skateboarders, parents, politicians and small business owners who see the value of skateboarding. We view skateboarding as a healthy and fun recreational activity as well as a creatively unique lifestyle

Our site, located under I-95 on Maryland Avenue in Wilmington, Delaware, will be home to an 18,000 sq. foot skate park. The park, designed by the team of Anthony Bracali Architecture, Skate Nerd and Van der Zalm Associates, will feature all of the elements of urban architecture sought out by modern skateboarders. Our design will be inspired by world-renowned skateboarding landmarks such as Philadelphia’s Love Park and San Francisco’s Embarcadero Plaza as well as from the obstacles and spots currently skated in downtown Wilmington.
