Are you enjoying the evolution of skate videos these days? Some prefer the highly stylized visual effects of the Ty Evans/ Spike Jonze skate production while others enjoy the ghettoness of The Berrics weekly segment “Wednesdays With Reda”. I personally don’t enjoy any of it and will always stand by my love for Snake Boarding.
Skate companies are pushing forward toward new and innovative ways of making skate movies feel fresh and new. The Free Pegasus video is no exception by integrating skating with storytelling in a beautiful European backdrop. Taking place in Barcelona Spain, this story follows the protagonist through Barcelona’s reliable plazas and neighborhoods. And instead of conforming to the hi-def format, these film makers went back ol school shot it on Super 16.
Brian Lotti will be hosting an event for the new Free Pegasus video premiere on Thursday June 12th at 8pm. The night before the TWS Awards, which Brian Lotti will be apart of hosting as well. The premiere will take place Cinema Paradiso style in Downtown Los Angeles at the intersection of 2nd and Hope at the Redcat Roy and Edna Disney Cal Arts Theater.
