It was yet another beautiful and perfect day at Pasta Point in the Maldives for the Sri Lankan Airlines Pro.  Rounds three and four were completed leaving the last 16 surfers for the ASP 6-Star Pro event.  Sunny Garcia made it to the final 16 along with Michael Campbell making it that much tougher for the field to get past their experience.  The final heat of the day might have been the most exciting as Leonardo Neves of Brazil went up against Aussie Adam Robertson but it was Neves who came out on top and both made it into the final rounds.

Neves went on to say, “This has been an incredible event and the waves just amazing. I can’t believe how good it’s been and everyone is just loving the Maldives. I’ve never actually won a really big event and it’s my dream and to win this one, in such incredible waves would be very special. We’ll all try our best tomorrow!”

The surf conditions are expected to be just as amazing for tomorrow.
