Riley Hawk Making His Mark

About 12-14 years ago, I attended a demo at Active San Dimas. Yeah, even back then Active had a monopoly on skate demos and team signings. Well out in the parking lot, there was this little three-year-old blond kid with a bowl haircut going a fourth of the way up and down a quarter pipe. It was so adorable! It turned out to be Tony Hawk’s kid Riley Hawk. Everyone back then could just imagine how dope that kid would be some day.
Well that day has come and I’m not sure if my math is correct or if he was even 3 years old when I saw him at Active San Dimas but Riley should be around 16 years old just wet around the ears by now. I bet he probably has a crackling voice when he attempts to talk to girls and I’m guessing he is learning how to drive one of his dad’s whips.
But one thing is for sure: the dude rips pretty hard. It’s also good to see that he’s taking his own skateboarding route by skating street. Check out this video presented by Shred Or Die.

Wow, I am profoundly amazed at any skateboarder and am in awe of how they do it. Haha! I started snowboarding and am trying skateboarding, it’s difficult…I am in awe!
