Venice beach is well known for it’s tranquil canals, street walking hippies, and fortunetellers.  Amongst all these oddities the beach city invests a lot of money in recreational attractions like a 4-Star workout area for meatheads and shiny people.  Or a jungle gym for gymnast to twirl and swirl.  The beach does have a skate park but it has gotten no attention for many years now.

After year of neglect the city of Venice has finally invested 2 millions dollars into a 16,000 square foot skate park with all sorts of bowls, stairs, rails, and fun boxes.  It truly is a skate skaters can be proud of.

To see more photos and blue prints of the park, check them out the Curbed site.
