Winter X-Gamers Boost Morale of US Troops

I’m not sure how the snow is this time of year in Afghanistan but that didn’t stop three X-Gamers from dropping in to Bagram Air Field to meet and greet US soldiers. Danny Kass, Nate Holland and Grete Eliassen made the visit on June 28 and there’s a pretty good write-up from one of the soldiers that was there at First Tracks.
It’s never quite clear why they were there (is the USO coming into the 21st century?) but it sounds like they had fun and no doubt the soldiers had fun (especially with Grete no doubt). Since there wasn’t snow, Kass got to show off his skateboarding chops in the photo below.
