The Billabong Pro J-Bay is underway in South Africa with the trials going into round one action. While nothing too exciting is expected to happen (after all, anyone knocked out in round one will get a second chance in round two), it looks as though there will be plenty of action after the day’s event. That’s because according to local retailers the sales of condoms goes through the roof during the contest period.

“They‘re definitely not only surfing,” joked the manager of one local spot who ended up doubling his stock during the Pro.

Yes, surfers do know how to have fun.
