If there’s any city in the United States more deserving of a skate park, Oakland would have to rank high up there. The skaters of the Bay Area know that they deserve one, but nobody is going to build it for them like many other cities in the U.S. That’s why “The Hood Games” is an organization that started three years ago with one simple objective: to get the City of Oakland its own skate park.
Karl Watson of Organika is leading the charge to helping the youth get what they need. He knows that building a skate park will keep kids out of trouble. That is why the collaboration between the two companies have put together the “Uplift The Youth” deck. With the purchase of this dope looking deck, a donation will be made to the Hood Games to get a skate park built in Oakland.
