Liberty University Receiving A Snowpark

The year I graduated from college, there was a new parking lot installed.  Complete with glowing lines so that they could be seen with headlights, panic buttons that you can push in case of an emergency, and four stories of extra spacious parking spaces.  That was supposedly our gift to the school.  Well that gift sucks compared to what Liberty University is getting. They are getting a mountain full of synthetic material designed to simulate snow.  The University’s 5,000 acre mountain range will be receiving one of the most amazing makeovers any school has ever seen.  So monumental is this project, the Discovery Channel will be documenting the historic event and will be airing it on a future episode of Daily Planet.

“Liberty University is also attempting to reconnect with its alumni. Our plan is to bring alumni and their families back to Lynchburg for weekend visits so they can become reacquainted with the university. The ski slope will provide a unique form of entertainment for these families and help us attract more of them to Liberty for weekend visits” says Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr.
