Red Bull Big Wave Africa Going Off Tomorrow?

While most of the surfing world is focused on Huntington Beach and the US Open of Surfing, there is another even that might go off this weekend. The Red Bull Big Wave Africa at Dungeons, South Africa, is on alert after a forecasted swell started to arrive today.
Surfers hit the water for the first official practice session of the waiting period and had pleasant 12-15 foot waves to work with.
The call will come on Saturday, July 26, at 7 a.m. local time (1 a.m. ET). I don’t think there’s a webcast so you will just have to read after the fact to see what happened.
