Yes, it seems so long ago that Shaun White got kicked off of bolted Volcom to join Target as its latest fashionishta. Now, his tireless hours of hard work have translated into something you can go buy tomorrow.
According to Target, Shaun White’s line of denim, shorts, woven tops, hooded sweatshirts and graphic tees go on sale tomorrow (Sunday, July 27) and all items should reflect his and his brother Jesse’s “love for skateboarding, music, art, and travel.”
Now, there is some bad news. First off, the clothes will be available for only 90 days (do I hear an opportunity to score big on Ebay?) and then they will hopefully be gone forever. Secondly, it is only going to be made for young men and boys, so XXL men like yours truly just may be SOL when it comes to finding something that fits.
But, if you have a young man body or are buying it for that someone special, this line does show that “cool doesn’t have to be costly.”
To be clear, there are some haters (imagine that) out there who are pointing out that Shaun White and his bro probably “designed” barely anything and that all this does is represent an $800K payday for the red-headed tycoon. And even if that’s the case, well, people who shop at Target might not care…

i think its really stupid to bag on someone just because theyre successful… he’s an extremely talented rider who also happens to have some business sense and now everyone hates him for it?
people say he’s sold out, but i bet that if they got the same opportunities theyd jump on them too.
