Rob Dyrdek’s Skate Spot Plans

Rob Dyrdek is no stranger to skate parks (or perhaps, skate park is the wrong word).  A couple of years ago he opened the Skate Plaza in Kettering, back in his home state of Ohio.  Then he spent a ton of money on the Maloof Money Cup — many people bemoaned that the course was built just to be torn down.

Now, according to this Skateboarding Magazine interview, Dyrdek’s working on a $100,000 set-up in Lafayette Park in Los Angeles.

Given his obvious distaste of the current state of skate parks, you can expect something that gets to the roots of skateboarding.

If you can handle the poorly-written article, check it out.
