Split Video Trailer Is Emo?

I just found a pretty cool teaser for the new Split video over at Vital Skate, who drops out of the sky to jump a crazy gap.  I think the video is supposed to be a movie within the horror genre.  That’s why I felt puzzled when I saw the responses on the message board for the video.  People were calling this video Emo?  What is Emo exactly?  I’m not really sure myself but I’m thinking it involves emotional people with angular haircuts and pretty fitted clothing?  I know I’m ignorant on the subject of Emo, but that’s not exactly what I felt seeing the teaser for the first time.  It reminds me more of Rob Zombie for some reason.

Anyway, check out the teaser.  Like I said, it has some really good skating and I’m not exactly sure what the Nuge is trying to attempt at the end but it looks like he’s paying the price for it.  Check it out for yourself.
