Surfing Magazine’s Photo Essay of the Padang Padang Ghost Ship
August 7, 2008 – 1:09 am PT by GregTags: Bali, Rip Curl Pro —
As most of you know, when the Rip Curl Pro Search went down in Indonesia last week, it was initially threatened by an abandoned ship that washed up on the break before moving to some rocks near the beach.
Now, as befits such an artifact, it has been torched by an unknown party (a local, reportedly) but there did happen to be a Quiksilver party/photo shoot going on at the time on its empty decks. Hmmmm.
Regardless, you can follow the journey of the ghost ship in Surfing Magazine’s photo essay below and read more here.
