Kickflip With Weezer

Timmy from the Vons gap will be there. Little Joey Joe Joe Jr. from your local high school will be in attendance too. Even Ravi Patel that skates everyday to the Teen Center will be in it. If all these guys around town are apart of it, why aren’t you? You better sign up now if you wish to be in the new Weezer video.

If you haven’t heard about this yet you better get on it because I can imagine a lot of people showing up for this. Weezer will be shooting a video for their upcoming single Troublemaker and will need as many skater extras as possible. If you’re thinking that the concept of the video may look something like THIS, then you’re not alone because that’s what I’m hoping for too. But I just learned that I’m way off.

The concept of the video actually includes a world record meant for Guinness. No the world record doesn’t include how many pairs of tight pants can be fit into a tight place but rather how many kickflips can be done simultaneously under one roof. If you have what it takes (or think you have what it takes), then contact the band at Weezerskater@gmail.com and leave them with your name, age and contact info.  Better hurry too because it takes place today, August 21st in Los Angeles.  I’m guessing they will get back to you with all the info.

This should be really fun. I’m definitely going to be there. But I’m not showing up with a skateboard, I’ll be there with Rollerblades to yell into the crown “Skaters suck!” We’ll see what happens when I have my friend there to secretly videotape the commotion. To tell you the truth, it’s a concept I want to pitch for the new Limp Bizkit video.
