The Boost Mobile Pro presented by Hurley didn’t start today but conditions are looking sweet for the contest to start as early as tomorrow.

“There are nice conditions this morning and the swell is about two to four feet and on the increase but we have a great window with four or five days of surf lined up that should be better than today,” Contest Director Mike Parsons said on the ASP’s website. “The main decider today was that there wasn’t enough consistency. There are good sets every half hour but it wasn’t consistent and we’re expecting really good waves tomorrow through Friday.”

In other Boost Mobile Pro news, Brazil’s Leonardo Neves had to pull out of the event due to visa issues.  Shane Beschen gets to surf in his place and draws Kelly Slater and Aussie Dayyan Neve in round one.

When the action does kick off, catch it live on www.boostmobilepro.com.
