Nic Long Pulls Off a Surprise Win in BMX SX at SLX

BMX Supercross made its Olympic Debut a month ago in China and Mike Day and Donny Robinson were among the favorites to compete, leaving with a silver and bronze. They returned stateside to compete at the AST’s special BMX SX event at the Toyota Challenge in Salt Lake City and again found themselves standing second and third.
Instead, it was an amateur, Nic Long, who took the top spot, edging the pros. Read more about his win on the AST site.
