Todd Potter Kicked Off Leaves Dew Tour

You gotta love live TV. During NBC’s live coverage of the Toyota Challenge FMX finals of the AST Dew Tour earlier this month Metal Mulish rider Todd Potter was captured waving his middle finger at the camera. He was wearing his helmet but one could imagine he was smiling underneath. After all, he was just showing off the new Metal Mulisha Grenade gloves that have the MM logo on the middle finger.
NBC and the AST didn’t have a sense of humor about it. He was fined $5k by the FCC and asked by the AST to leave the tour (aka kicked out) according to Transworld Motocross.
Potter hasn’t been setting the tour on fire this season, missing the finals in one event and placing 8th at the Toyota Challenge, but he did place first in Best Whip at X Games Mexico last weekend.
You can see the new gloves that got him in trouble pictured here, and go to the Mulisha site for more about Potter’s latest news.
