Another FMX First: Jumping a Yacht

There are a lot of world records in freestyle motocross, but one apparent first will be done next Monday in Auckland, New Zealand.

Crusty Demon team rider Luke Smith, 26, will perform a backflip on his bike over a million-dollar America’s Cup yacht, NZL 41.

After clearing the top of the yacht, he will fall almost four stories into the water.

It may not be a world-record, but it should be a good photo op.

Smith is performing the stunt to help promote the new Crusty Demon tour “Crusty Demons 2009 Unleash Hell New Zealand Tour.”
