Steve Caballero Presents “Gas, Gears & Grease”

I know that Steve Caballero is an awesome artist in so many ways.  Since he was just a kid wet behind the ears and when I was still in the womb, this guy always stuck out beyond the skateboard community. Whether it was creating tricks like the Caballerial or creating punk rock music that my nose can bleed to, the guy is always creating and never fails to impress. 

So when I see the title of his new show entitled “Gas, Gears & Grease”, I was thinking he was getting into a different medium of art.  The title with words like Gas, Gears, and Grease reminds me of something like THIS.  I thought awesome!  Caballero made his first musical. 

After I called up my friend to buy tickets, he told me I was an idiot.  The show is actually a photography exhibit featuring different parts of a motor vehicle.  The exhibit opens this Saturday, November 1st at San Jose’s Black & Brown Boutique.  “Gas, Gears & Grease” will continue through December 1st.  Now get into your beater and get take the drive out to San Jose.
