Partisans Speak Out For Their Presidential Candidates
November 4, 2008 – 7:55 pm PT by MikeTags: Barack Obama, Snowboard TV, Z-Trip —
Today is a landmark day for the country. For the first time in eight years, we will see a new president take the highest office in the world. In addition, it will be the first time in this nation’s short history we will either see an African American or the oldest man in his first term to take the Presidency. Not to mention the possibility of having a woman as the Vice President. For those of you not old enough to vote, you may not find much significance in what’s going on. Go back to your video games and Pogs. But for those of you old enough, you understand what we’re looking at here for the next four years.
We here at Lat34 respect all party affiliations and those involved with their parties. We live in a diverse melting pot of a country and we feel that we must value everyone’s opinion. So we find that it’s our duty to bring you a “fair and balanced” perspective from both party affiliations. Luckily after scouring the Internet for countless hours, we’ve found two representatives representing each party who are good indicators of what each group looks like.
This video represents Barack Obama and the Democratic Party. You see a video clip of DJ Z-Trip touring the country with his “Party for Change” tour. He made a stop in Boulder, CO and Snowboard TV caught up with him at the show. Check out what he had to say about the election going on today.
Next we have a representative from the McCain camp. There’s not much I can say here. But she’s the epitome of a McCain supporter.
