This Is What Happens When You Smoke Your Business

The U.S. Border Patrol, better known as “La Migra” reported an abandoned fiberglass surfboard located north of the U.S./ Mexican border last Tuesday at Border Field State Park.  Now I’ve known stoners to be quite brilliant actually with what they do.  Mostly film makers and entertainers.  Just look at Judd Apatow, the creator of “The 40 Year Old Virgin” and “”Knocked Up”.  Or how about comedians like Dave Chappelle.  Brilliant.  And even great songwriters like Aaron Carter.  Where would he be without his smoke?

Then there are guys who are probably very hard working individuals like those mentioned but fail to meet the task at hand.  The kind of people who feel that close enough is good enough.  And I know more people like the latter.  That’s why I stay away from that junk.

Pictures of the sliced open surfboard distributed by the Border Patrol Wednesday, doesn’t show a very expensive model. The board was spray painted blue, cut open and then glued back together.   Further inspection revealed that the hollowed out board was stuffed with 36 pounds of marijuana at an estimated street value of $29,360.  He could have bought himself an education with that money.

Agents spotted the board while following “foot traffic along the beach,” the agency reported in a press release. No one was arrested.  “We were lookin’ for him though,” a Border Patrol spokesman replied, chuckling. “He’s good for comic relief.”

Sounds like some of the Patrolmen took a surf that morning.
