It’s amazing to me how long the Tampa Am as been around now. For fifteen years up and coming amateurs have been trying to make a name for themselves by ripping hard. I remember back in my day, we used to skate with sticks. That’s right, STICKS. Not only that, but the amateurs of today make the pros of yesterday look like chopped liver. I remember watching these amateurs and saying to myself as a kid, “Keen! Peachy keen! I can do some of these tricks.”
Now I can’t do a single amateur trick. What is this world coming to? Well I couldn’t be happier. I just wish they would bring back those sticks. This year’s Tampa Am was no joke. And in the second year in a row, a Brazilian takes the Title of The Best Am in the Land. Go over to the TAMPA AM website to see full results.
