Lucky for you, Chas Guldemond will appear on the “The Standard Snowboard Show” airing Tuesday, December 16th on FUEL TV at 8:00pm ET and 11:00pm ET (5:00pm PT and 8:00pm PT). This fifth season episode will be filled with tons of freestyle footage of Chas as he sessions parks across Tahoe’s North Shore.

With a pretty spectacular showing at this pas week’s Nissan X-Trail jam in Tokyo with a third place finish, Chas currently leads the Swatch TTR standings.  Dang, this boy wants blood!  And it looks like he will just keep on working giving no mercy to his fellow snowboarders.  I hope they will still be friends.  With a back-to-back contest schedule, Chas will compete on the Dew Tour, then in slopestyle at the Winter X Games 2009. When he’s not competing, New Hampshire native resides in Truckee, calling Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort his local mountain.

This winter will be one to remember for you college snowboarding party animals.  Mountain High is bringing a rocking college party to the mountains this winter with its brand new program, College Night at Mountain High. College Night at Mountain High is a series of three Thursday night parties created for Southern California college students and will take place from 5-10pm on December 11, 2008, February 12, and March 12, 2009.

College Night will take place at the Bullwheel Bar & Grill at Mountain High’s West Resort and will feature live DJs, $1 hot dogs, $20 night lift tickets (with college ID), and hookups from a collection of industry partners. Pro Volcom snowboard team riders Dan Brisse, and Zac Marben stopped by Fuel TV’s “The Daily Habit” to hang out and take a break from their busy schedules.  The program airs tonight, Wednesday November 19, at 9:00 PM (6:00 Pacific).  Plus a band that is currently in Ryan Seacrest’s I-Pod, The Secret Machines will be doing a live performance.  Also, correspondent Jeff Sloniker tries to get life lessons from Sean William Scott at the press premiere of “Role Models”.

With countless skaters, boarders, surfers, bladers, and heelys, using the Internet to their advantage by giving their fans the lowdown on what they are doing this very second, it’s just fitting that Fuel TV launches into a new series, currently only for snowboarders, called “Snowboard Diaries”.  And what more extreme name can you give than having “Diaries” in the title. 

If you think that snowboarding is all parties, bikinis, bad tattoos, and red faces, well then you’re like me because that’s what I thought too.  But the snowboarding profession is a lot more than just that.  It includes the basic human value of “the struggle” with the sport, thus making a connection with snowboarders and non-snowboarders alike.

The new series is land on your television on Tuesday nights, beginning on December 30th, 2008 at 8:00 PM.  The five- part series will star some of the most renowned boarders across the land including Kevin Pearce, X Games Gold Medalist Torstein Horgmo, Eero Ettala, Pat Moore, Jake Blauvelt, Hampus Mosesson, Mikel Bang, Mads Johnson, and many others.

 The Indonesian surfing sensation Made “Garut” Widiarta will be tonight’s guest on Fuel TV’s “The Daily Habit”.  Garut has been going full force lately and for the young gun from Bali.  Garut was a wildcard into the Rip Curl Pro Search WCT event in Bali, a took on a 3-week stint in southern California, and, most recently, place 5th place at the Oakley Global Challenge at firing Keramas.

Airing Thursday, October 16, at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (6:00 pm Pacific Time) and telecast three additional times, Made “Garut” Widiarta will appear on The Daily Habit.
