That’s the kind of moxie skate events need in their theme songs. This awesome song also has a groundbreaking video that goes along with it. We should all band together and get this video up on MTV’s “Total Request Live”.

Sheckler was only 12 at the time and this was back around 2001/02 during the second or third season of “Jackass.” After this segment fizzled the guys decided to “go big” in the future. Maybe you can watch it and see why it didn’t make such good TV. Maybe if they did it now with an 18-year-old Sheckler and put Knoxville on the Megaramp… That would be good TV. One thing that’s pretty interesting is to see how much Ryan looks like his younger Bro Kane at this point…

Some of you might have had a chance to see “Mat Hoffman’s Tribute to Evel Knieval” that aired on MTV during the Jackass takeover day awhile back. Well, as we already told you, the special is being released on DVD and you can buy it now and if you’re interested in some photos from the filming be sure to check out the Jackassworld website — they’ve been posting a ton (and we have a couple here for you – credit Michael Wong).

Jake Brown has finally gotten back on the megaramp, a little more than seven months after the horrendous fall he took during X Games 13. But lucky for us, not only do we have some video of the event, we also have Dave Carnie chronicling the whole thing on the Big Brother Jackassworld website.

You can read the whole thing here (it’s worth it) but here are the highlights:

• Dave Carnie has an uncomfortable conversation with Bob Burnquist about coming to film Brown on Bob’s ramp. Carnie sh*t all over Bob in his blog after BB won the gold (questionably) at X13 in Big Air
• Burnquist tells Carnie about Brown: “He was amazing that day and basically walked on water. The Gold medal or any medal was and is pointless.”
• Heath Kirchart comes along and drops in but bails out before he can make the jump.
• Brown didn’t miss a beat and smoothly took the ramp. “I wasn’t nervous when I got here,” he said later, “but as I was heading across the flat bottom and looking at the transition, I was like, ‘Oh sh*t.’”.

• Big Air is more than a sport, now. It’s also the name of a new controller that will come out for skateboard/snowboard games on the Xbox 360.
• Guess Volcom stock is good to own now. First-quarter profit rose 70%.

• So you think skateboarding is dangerous? Not as bad as bike-riding, football and baseball. So there.
• Diet Mountain Dew can kill you. Ot at least cut you.
