The 11th Annual Pipe To Pipe Rail Jam will be going down this Saturday June 28th at the Windell’s Snowboard Park on Palmer Snowfield at Timberline Resort.  The event in the past has been known for bringing together some of the best up and coming amateurs and have mixed them with the sport’s most popular veterans.  The contest begins in the snow and ends on the skateboarding street course with a $3000 cash purse. 

Invited riders include Chad Otterstrom, Louif Paradis, Jarad Hadi, Nick Dirks, Josh Sherman, Chris Grenier, Leanne Pelosi, Desiree Melencoln, Rawyn Reed, Steve Cartwright, Scott Stevens, Zac Marben and Austin Granger.

Registration is free for all riders. Pre-register at Windell’s Snowboard Camp or the day of the event between 9-10am at Timberline’s WyEast Day Lodge.

Let’s hand it to Bonfire Snowboarding for sending out what has got to be the prettiest press photo of an athlete we’ve ever seen. Problem is, the big “CAREY HAIDER” on the photo confused some outlets (we’re not naming names, *cough*). Yes, the email and the press release was pretty clear that Jarad Hadi was the newest member on Bonfire, not a 24-year-old photog from Portland, but it was a mistake waiting to happen..

BONFIRE WELCOMES JARAD HADI TO THE TEAM

PORTLAND, ORE. (May 2, 2008) – Bonfire Snowboarding is stoked to announce that Jarad Hadi joins Louif Paradis, Matt Ladley, Bev Vuilleumier, Steve Cartwright, Ross Baker and Davis Johnson on the North American team.

“Jarad has tricks that I’ve never seen anyone else do and he’s all about boardin’ with his crew. He’s got sick style and shares his ideas with our designers. He makes my job easier,” said Team Manager Java Fernandez.

His sweet moves are evident on dance floors across the country and in Under Par Productions’ film “Keep Talkin’.”
