I’m one cheap bastard.  But I’m also a very giving bastard especially around this time of the year.  There is no better feeling than seeing the look on someone’s face after you give them something that was either free, or really, really inexpensive.  If I want to go the frugal route?  It’s obvious.  You go to the 99 Cents store.  You’ll be surprised what you can find there for less than a buck.  Last year for a gift exchange I was the life of the party.  I brought a horse calendar, nose and ear hair razor, batteries, an Osama bin Laden book, and a whole lot more. Twenty gifts for $20.

Then there’s the free route.  Where all your gifts don’t cost you a cent.  For the third time, the online “snowboard only” pro shop HOTZONE.TV is hosting his team DVD. – And once again for free of course!!   Here, you will be able to order yourself a DVD and really be the life of the party.  Your friends will think that you’re a baller with a $30 gift.

The performing riders will be Lars Oesterle, Rudi Kröll, Peter König, Werni Stock, Benni
Wetscher, Stefan Kisslinger, Reini Rieser, Beckna, Seppe Smits, Mone Monsberger and Friedl Kolar. But you will find a lot more on the DVD than just the shred-skills of the team riders.  A very useful feature for all snowboarders is the “Homie shopping“.
